What is the Halo?
A handmade speaker from Vught, the Netherlands. A cylinder, turned on a lathe and finished by hand. Built by one maker. €1.295.
Is the Halo a smart speaker?
No. The Halo plays music over WiFi, Bluetooth and Aux. No microphones, no voice assistant, no screen. It is a speaker, not a device that listens.
How is the Halo different from mainstream speakers?
Most speakers are mass-produced electronics with a tweeter, a crossover and a ported cabinet. The Halo has two full-range drivers, no tweeter, no crossover, and a closed subwoofer that keeps the bass tight. It is built by hand, one at a time.
How does the Halo sound?
Tuned for voice and acoustic instrument. Three hand-tuned modes: Signature (slightly warm, voice forward), Pop (more bass, more air) and Jazz (open, detailed). Not for club volume, not for home cinema.
Can I try it at home?
Thirty days at home. If it does not fit, we collect it and refund in full.
Which streaming services work with the Halo?
Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal and others, over WiFi and Bluetooth. Aux for everything else.
Where is it made?
In one workshop in Vught, the Netherlands. Designed, built, packed and shipped by one person.
Why does it cost €1.295?
Two years of development, twelve prototypes, and every Halo passes through my hands. Lathe-turned, hand-sanded, hand-finished.
When will it be delivered?
Production of the First Light Series begins August 2026. Delivery from September.
Which colours are available?
Canvas, Sand, Rosé, Stone, Dutch Sky, Midnight and Terra. Colour samples of them all are available for €15, credited to your Halo order.
